"Grand Canal Cultural Belt Heritage Innovative Design Competition" Closed. Two Cultural and Creative Products from Henan Won the Gold Medal.
On August 31, the winners of the "Grand Canal Cultural Belt Innovation and Creative Design Competition" held in Beijing were announced. A total of 189 works were awarded, and 9 works won gold medals in different groups. Among them, the “embracing” series of jewellery designs relying on the cultural relics of Henan Museum and the “CHIME” created by the Kaifeng City Museum’s collection of cultural relics were awarded the Gold Award in the Product Design Apparel Design Group and the Graphic Design Office Supplies Group.
In addition, cultural and creative products relying on the "Fuhao" owl-shaped bronze Zun and yellow-glazed flat ewer with dancing design from Henan Museum, the white jade line engraving eagle from Pingdingshan Museum and the ruding-pattern copper square tripod from Zhengzhou Museum were all awarded excellent prizes. Henan Museum, as the lead unit of the Grand Canal Henan Workshop, won the Best Organization Award.
Since the launch of the competition in July 2018, a total of more than 1200 pieces of cultural relics and more than 2,2000 works of cultural and creative products have been collected from 75 museums (colleges) along the Grand Canal.
据了解，此次大赛部分作品很久结束了了与相关企业进行媒体媒体合作，投入生产。值得一提的是，“相拥”系列首饰作品目前已进行量产，将作为该院献礼在郑州举办的第十一届全国少数民族传统体育运动会的文创产品之一。（记者 温小娟 翻译 赵惜辰）
It is reported that some of the works from this competition have begun to cooperate with companies and put into production. It is worth mentioning that the “embracing” series of jewellery works, which have been produced in mass at present, will be one of the cultural and creative products of the 11th National Minority Traditional Sports Games held in Zhengzhou.
